Who We Are
Welcome to our church!
Our church is never about the building but always about the people. Our congregation comprises singles, seniors, children, youth, and families of all shapes and sizes. When you visit our church, you’ll be greeted with warm smiles and know you are welcome. We are a growing family desiring to serve our Savior. Our church strives to be the hands and feet of Jesus to everyone who walks through the door. We are a Bible-believing, Bible-teaching church, which is evident in every classroom and every sermon.
Our church culture has dramatically and positively changed over the past year. In 2022, we united the congregations of the Philipsburg Alliance Church and the Osceola Mills Alliance Church. Now that we are one church family, the church culture has shifted to an outward focus, becoming an established part of our community, reaching out to our neighbors, standing in the gap when help is needed, and strengthening and supporting our church body. We also look forward to growth – growth in each person’s relationship with Christ, growth in new believers, and growth within our various ministries in the church. God has been so faithful to us on this journey of uniting two church bodies. We know He has big plans for us to reach others for Him.
Our church is located in a small suburban Western PA town. Philipsburg is home to approximately 2,800 people. It is also a bedroom community for those who work in State College though we do have some local industry. Our church is located in the residential neighborhood of South Philipsburg, just outside of the main town.
Our Mission
Our church exists to be a light in our little corner of Centre County. We want people to know we will stand beside them to help, love, and support them.
We desire to minister to our church body and also the community, reaching those who want to restore their relationship with Jesus by becoming part of a church family. We desire to minister to the lost, those who don’t believe or aren’t sure they believe in the one true God. We desire to reach anyone who wants a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
